Repairing damage
Hammering out dents, straightening damaged parts, and replacing badly damaged panels
Filling and smoothing
Filling depressions with plastic filler and sanding and filing repaired surfaces
Welding
Cutting and joining replacement sections using welding equipment
Refitting
Refitting repaired or replacement panels and body hardware like door locks and trims
Painting
Sanding, priming, and painting repaired areas to match the rest of the vehicle
Recording
Keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used
Communicating
Communicating with customers and other team members to ensure customer satisfaction
