March 23, 2023 – A possible partnership with TESDA was recently discussed in an exploratory meeting between Blueshirt Solutions Inc. and TESD-O DDG Aniceto “John” Bertiz III.
TESDA is the Philippine government agency that is responsible for the provision of technical education and skills development programs to Filipino citizens. The agency aims to improve the quality of the Filipino workforce and increase the competitiveness of the country in the global job market. The agency also provides certification to Filipino workers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively. The partnership between Blueshirt and TESDA will enable Filipino workers to access TESDA’s training programs through the Blueshirt platform. This will make it easier for workers to find the right training programs to develop their skills and improve their employability. The partnership will also provide workers with access to job opportunities through the Blueshirt platform, which will help them find employment that matches their skills and interests.
“Kailangan ng mga skilled workers ang continuous support and certification sa hard skills at essential skills. Ito ay upang magkaroon ng professional growth at maayos na income. Kung lahat tayo ay hindi makokontento lamang sa basic skills at palalawakin pa natin ang ating kakayahan hindi imposible ang maayos at masayang buhay,” Vince Ducut, Blueshirt Solutions Inc. and Blueshirt Mobile App’s Director of Operations, says.
Communication, collaboration, and leadership are only some of the essential skills that our local skilled workers population constantly need to learn as much as corporate and other local workers do. The problem is, these essential skills are often disregarded due to how they fall under what are generally considered as soft skills.
“We [want to] continuously inform, motivate, and coach them,” Ducut continues, “so that they (local skilled workers) are enabled to keep up with the fast-paced and demanding respective industries that they belong to.
The collaboration between Blueshirt and TESDA is a significant step towards improving the quality of the Filipino workforce and increasing the competitiveness of the Philippines in the global job market.
By providing Filipino workers access to online coaching/mentoring and further connecting them with verified employers on our platform, the partnership will help our local skilled workers develop the skills they need to succeed in today’s fast-paced job market.
